LOPEVI passe en alerte 2

L'activité volcanique de lopevi a changé. Son niveau d'alerte est élevé du niveau 1 au niveau 2., ce qui signifie que l'activité volcanique de lopevi est en état de troubles majeurs. La zone de risque est autour du cône volcanique. Conseils à tous les visiteurs de ne pas approcher le cratère volcanique pour éviter l'impact des gaz volcaniques et tout autre impact sur l'activité volcanique. Toutes les autorités, les villages d'paama et d'epi, les visiteurs et les agences de voyages doivent sérieusement examiner ces informations. Le département de météorologie et de météorologie de Vanuatu continuera de suivre de près cette activité volcanique. Des informations supplémentaires seront fournies en conséquence, le cas échéant. LOPEVI VOLCANO ALERT BULLETIN No10 issued by the Vanuatu Meteorology and Geohazards Department (VMGD) on 23th September 2017 at 09:54AM :

The Lopevi volcanic activity has changed. Its Alert Level is raised from Level 1 to Level 2. This means that the Lopevi volcanic activity is in major unrest state. The area of risk is around the volcanic cone.

Advice to all visitors not to approach the volcanic crater to avoid volcanic gases impact and any other volcano activity impacts. All authorities, villages of Paama and Epi islands, visitors and travel agencies have to seriously consider this information.

The Vanuatu Meteorology and Geohazards Department will continue to closely monitor this volcano activity. More information will be provided accordingly when necessary.
